Sebastian Hosche > 2006-05-16_09751 Today my first real life snake ever was crossing the path I was driving on in a park next to the zoo. She was about 5 feet long and quickly drawing a crowd. Couldn't get a shot while she was moving as she was fast - then she disappeared into a very little bush and the crowd moved on. I couldn't figure out where she had gone - until I saw that she had gone nowhere, as she had just curled herself up. After a while she decided to take a sunbath (photo) until she disappeared for good by moving on the water of the fishing pond and climbing on a treebranch hanging into the water. That was really cool! I then checked with the zoo, but they weren't missing any green snakes. Does anyone know what kind of snake it is?
